When our clients purchased this property they saw the beauty in its current state and its potential for future expansion. A large site, a quaint timber clad cottage and a well established centralised garden with a large cheese tree that is some 20+ years old gives us a great starting canvas! We worked through concept designs and design development that scoped various stages and buildings for the future proofing of the site.

A large extension to the existing cottage, enhancing the clients internal spaces and views of the garden from the open living, dining, kitchen and outdoor spaces.

A secondary dwelling was also briefed, firstly at approximately 90m2 as a 2 bedroom retreat for guests and family. This was then further developed and refined down to a 30m2 1 bedroom simplified version, to help better align overall budget of the project.

Other spaces designed as part of the development include a small lap pool, a 2.5 x car garage with workshop and various internal changes to the main dwellings existing bathrooms.
