The brief for this project was to make sense of and improve the existing dwelling and add a large first floor addition, while focusing on bringing natural light into the spaces and capitalising on the views over the national park.

This project went through a cost testing exercise, reviewing the clients brief and the costs associated with building in a bushfire flame zone area. We coordinated with bushfire consultants, the builder and suppliers with detailed plans and schedules of the developed design. Through this process, and upon reviewing the preliminary costs against the budget, the project was put on hold.
